Group members: Leo Gottfried, San Simeon Koizumi, Rollin Walther, Tomas Mor

This project involved the construction of a half-scale model of the transitional column found in James Sterling’s Leicester Engineering building in England. This model includes the supporting beam for the lower slab, the angular column, and an elevated cantilevered slab supported by this column. The final structure reaches 6 feet 8 inches tall and weighs in at roughly 4,000 lbs of reinforced concrete.
